1. Our Commitment to Zero Data Retention

At hoozl.com, your document privacy is not an afterthought—it is the foundational architecture upon which our platform is built. We strictly adhere to a Zero-Data Retention policy. We do not view, analyze, archive, or monetize your documents.

2. Browser-Local (Client-Side) Security Architecture

Unlike traditional document converters that upload your confidential files to remote web servers, the vast majority of Hoozl's tools (including Merge PDF, Split PDF, Rotate PDF, Crop PDF, and Watermark PDF) run 100% locally inside your web browser using WebAssembly and client-side JavaScript. Your files never leave your physical device.

3. Cloud AI OCR Processing Protocols

When utilizing our multimodal AI OCR or high-accuracy document summary tools, files are transmitted via an encrypted 256-bit TLS/SSL connection to our processing microservices. These files are processed entirely in ephemeral RAM and are permanently deleted immediately after the extracted text is returned to your browser.

4. Compliance with GDPR, CCPA & International Standards

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to access, rectify, or erase any personal account data associated with your subscription. Because we do not store documents, there is no document archive to request or delete.

5. Payment Information Security

All subscription payments are handled through Stripe Inc. We never store, process, or view your full credit card numbers or security codes. Stripe maintains PCI-DSS Level 1 certification, the highest level of certification in the payments industry.
